Front of House Supervisor

Front of House Supervisor needed by a growing hospitality business in Victoria. You will step into a hands-on leadership position, coordinating the FOH team, keeping service standards up and making sure customers consistently have a good experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee POS transactions, orders and cash handling
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house operations in service
Direct staff and allocate them across service stations
Take charge of shift operations from opening to close and coordinate handovers so important information is shared
Monitor service flow and deal effectively with operational challenges
Provide consistent, professional customer service and manage enquiries and issues appropriately
Work with kitchen staff to keep service efficient
Monitor FOH cleanliness, presentation and food safety practices
Keep workplace and service standards in place throughout each shift
Support training and development of FOH staff
Step into operational duties and help the team at peak times
Set a positive example with professional conduct and strong work standards

Requirements & Eligibility

Current RSA Certificate
Proven experience as a Front of House Supervisor or in a similar hospitality leadership role
Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating hospitality staff
High-volume hospitality or QSR experience is advantageous
Strong communication skills
Strong people-management skills
Confident with customer service and problem-solving
Stays calm, organised and effective in busy service
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
Positive attitude and a professional approach to hospitality
Available weekdays, evenings and weekends
Previous employment and relevant experience must be genuine and verifiable
Must satisfy applicable requirements for visa sponsorship
