Formwork Carpenter wanted for a construction team in Western Australia. Your industry experience must be proven and verifiable, and you need a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

The employer is looking for a carpenter with genuine hands-on ability who can adapt with confidence to different construction projects and site environments. You will contribute to formwork as well as general carpentry, working with an experienced construction team.

Key Responsibilities

Follow site safety procedures and construction requirements, and keep the work area clean and organised
Build, assemble and dismantle formwork structures
Perform formwork carpentry across a range of construction projects
Interpret plans, specifications and construction drawings
Measure, mark and cut construction materials, then install them accurately
Take on general carpentry and construction work as required
Operate power and hand tools in a safe, efficient way
Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
Work independently or within a construction team
Travel between project sites if required
Adapt to different site conditions and project requirements

Requirements & Eligibility

A White Card
Demonstrated work history as a Formwork Carpenter or All-Round Carpenter
Genuine, verifiable construction industry experience, including work on active construction sites
Relevant carpentry qualification or a recognised trade certification preferred
Current driver's licence preferred
Reliable transport and your own hand and power tools
Can work independently
Strong work ethic and close attention to detail
Ready to travel between construction sites and to work in regional areas where required
Able to satisfy applicable employment and sponsorship requirements
