Commercial flooring installers with real site experience, this one is worth a serious look. A long-established Australian floor coverings business in Perth is hiring a Flooring Installer for permanent full-time work, laying floors on projects for Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders throughout Perth and Western Australia.
The brief is clear. Install the coverings you specialise in, plan the work properly, get it right the first time and leave a clean, professional finish. You report to the Site Supervisor and work hand in hand with the builder's site team and other trades.
The employer judges success on quality installations delivered on programme, safely and with minimal defects. Visa sponsorship is there for suitably qualified overseas installers.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle your specialty end to end: sheet vinyl, LVT and other resilient finishes with welding and coving, or carpet and carpet tiles
- Grind, patch, prime and level subfloors so they are ready for covering
- Test for moisture and flatness up front and log every reading
- Set out and measure from drawings and finishes schedules without guesswork
- Stay in sync with the builder's site team and other trades, look after materials on site and cut waste, and keep timesheets, daily reports, quality checklists and photos current while following inductions, safety rules and safe work method statements
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 3 years laying floors on commercial jobs, in Australia or elsewhere
- Hands-on skill in one or more of these: preparing subfloors, laying carpet, laying vinyl
- Preferred, though not required: a Certificate III in Flooring Technology or another floor covering trade qualification, or overseas training or experience at an equivalent level
- WA White Card in hand (or obtainable before you start) and a driver's licence recognised in Australia
- Strong focus on detail, a reliable track record and confident English on site
