Fire Technician / Carpenter

Trade · Perth WA, Australia · Full-Time · $80,000/yr

This is a hands-on trade role, not a desk job. A passive fire protection company with an established name in Western Australia needs a Fire Technician / Carpenter whose trade capability and employment history are genuine and can be shown.

The work covers service, maintenance and construction on a range of sites: fire-rated doors, passive fire protection systems, fire stopping and penetration sealing.

To succeed, you will need practical experience, a trade background and the ability to meet professional and compliance standards. You should be able to point to the work you have done, understand why compliant installation matters and take ownership of accurate, high-quality results. Remember that a genuine employer will never ask you to pay for a job offer.

  • Inspect all completed work for quality and compliance
  • Keep accurate records of completed works and site details
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
  • Speak clearly and effectively with clients, supervisors and project personnel
