Key Responsibilities

Operate farm vehicles and machinery according to training and licensing rules, and inspect and maintain equipment so it runs safely
Feed and look after livestock daily
Prepare feed and distribute it according to production schedules
Check animal health and wellbeing and raise any concerns quickly
Handle stock safely during inspections and routine moves, and assist with livestock processing and quality assurance
Uphold strict farm hygiene and biosecurity, cleaning facilities, work areas and equipment with approved procedures
Carry out general property upkeep such as mowing and managing weeds
Keep accurate daily records and report clearly to supervisors
Pull together with the team on production, safety and animal welfare targets

Requirements & Eligibility

You must be eligible for Australian visa sponsorship
Fit and strong enough for manual labour across the full working day
Willing to work outside in changing weather conditions
Experience from agriculture, farming, livestock, landscaping, construction, warehousing, manufacturing or any other physically demanding industry is an advantage but not essential
A positive attitude and willingness to pick up new skills
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Commitment to animal welfare standards and workplace safety
A reliable approach to work
Available for rotating rosters that include weekends and public holidays
Current driver's licence desirable
