Key Responsibilities
- Complete every electrical job safely and to the required standards
- Handle electrical maintenance, servicing and repair work
- Investigate faults and carry out effective fault diagnosis
- Test electrical systems to pinpoint maintenance or repair needs
- Carry out electrical installations in a variety of work environments
- Take on commercial electrical installations when required
- Interpret electrical plans, specifications and technical information, and operate tools, testing equipment and machinery correctly
- Keep the workplace clean, safe and organised
- Work efficiently on assigned tasks while holding high workmanship standards
- Work independently on your own tasks and cooperate with other team members
- Deal professionally with customers and colleagues and provide reliable service that contributes to positive customer experiences
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven employment history that can be verified, and willingness to provide documentation supporting your qualifications and work experience
- Qualified electrician with relevant trade certification
- Demonstrated hands-on electrical maintenance experience and strong practical knowledge of repairs and fault finding
- Commercial electrical experience is advantageous
- A sound grasp of electrical safety, compliance and workplace procedures
- Able to diagnose problems and resolve technical issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with a reliable, professional and hardworking approach
- Effective communication with customers and team members
