A leading industrial operation needs an Electrical Technician who can keep its plant reliable. The work centres on preventative maintenance, finding electrical faults and completing repairs without delay.

Key Responsibilities

Comply fully with the safety, health and environmental procedures that apply
Diagnose and investigate electrical faults, then complete the repairs and maintenance work needed
Maintain industrial plant equipment and electrical systems
Run preventative maintenance programs
Respond to corrective maintenance needs
Find ways to improve equipment reliability, reduce equipment downtime and limit interruptions to production
Work hand in hand with production and maintenance personnel, and contribute to continuous improvement
Help develop maintenance solutions that are cost-effective and efficient

Requirements & Eligibility

Australian Electrical Licence (current) - essential
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining or related environment
Strong track record in electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting
Practical experience in industrial maintenance
Strong safety awareness at all times
Able to perform effectively with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and teamwork
Qualifications and employment history must be verifiable
Experience in instrumentation will be an advantage; SAP knowledge will also be an advantage
