This is a hands-on Cook position with a fast-growing hospitality operation in New South Wales. The employer wants proven kitchen experience that translates into consistent results, not just claims on paper.

Expect a busy breakfast and brunch kitchen. You will be trusted to take responsibility during service, keep recipes consistent and work inside the kitchen systems that are already in place. Practical cooking ability, reliability and the discipline to protect standards are what count.

Key Responsibilities

Take charge of cooking duties during service with minimal supervision
Prepare breakfast and brunch dishes to the established recipes and specifications, including Australian breakfast and brunch classics cooked to a consistent standard
Complete prep and mise en place to match each day's requirements
Control food quality, presentation and portion sizes so every dish is consistent
Follow the kitchen's recipes, procedures and operating systems
Keep cleanliness, food safety and organisation at a high standard
Work efficiently with the kitchen crew through busy periods and communicate clearly during service
Act on feedback constructively and make the required improvements
Support weekend and public holiday operations as required

Requirements & Eligibility

A track record that proves you can follow recipes and established kitchen systems
Demonstrated experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen, including practical work on breakfast and brunch-style dishes
Able to work independently and with confidence during service
Consistent in food preparation and in meeting quality standards
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual and professional
Stays composed and organised when the kitchen is fast-paced
Prepared to accept constructive feedback and follow workplace procedures
Free to work weekends and public holidays
Relevant work experience backed by appropriate employment evidence; eligible candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship
