You must be able to show you are reliable, have practical ability and are genuinely interested in Italian cuisine. In return, you get hands-on exposure to traditional Italian preparation, pasta and sauce techniques, working next to an experienced culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow food safety requirements
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements
- Prepare and cook Italian dishes in line with kitchen standards
- Help with pasta, sauces and traditional Italian food preparation
- Complete mise en place and the daily prep
- Deliver consistent food quality, taste and presentation
- Work to recipes, cooking procedures and senior chefs' instructions
- Stay efficient through busy kitchen service
- Keep your workstation clean and organised
- Keep your workstation hygienic
- Support other kitchen team members when required
- Take feedback and use new techniques and procedures
- Show reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
- Help build a respectful, productive kitchen environment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Must meet applicable Australian employment requirements
- Must meet applicable Australian visa requirements
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
- Proven interest or experience in commercial cooking
- A real passion for Italian cuisine
- Reliable and consistent at work
- Strong work ethic and readiness to take responsibility
- Able to follow instructions and learn from experienced chefs
- Practical kitchen skills that fit your level of experience
- Previous hospitality or kitchen experience advantageous
- Good teamwork
- Good communication
- Willing to develop professionally in the Australian hospitality industry
