Client Service Manager

What the team does: it protects the accuracy and continuity of client relationships whenever accounts change hands or change shape. That covers account transfers, client migrations, Deceased Estate administration, offboarding and CHESS Sponsorship activity, all handled carefully for complex portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams, advisers, client service professionals and senior stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders locally and overseas to sort out account and processing issues
  • Process client account changes, transfers and transitions without errors
  • Coordinate asset and position transfers, covering CHESS Sponsorship requirements
  • Support the offboarding of clients and the administration of Deceased Estate files
  • Help run client migration processes and keep accounts maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Update client static data and account information accurately
  • Protect the accuracy of client data and the integrity of operations
  • Coordinate with processing teams and other operational functions to deliver timely, accurate, quality outcomes
  • Meet the required turnaround times and service standards in your daily work
  • Flag operational issues and escalate them where required
  • Contribute to process improvement and extra operational projects, while giving professional, responsive support to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Excellent attention to detail and a firm commitment to accuracy
  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance or another related discipline
  • RG146 qualification is preferred, otherwise a willingness to undertake the required study
  • Highly desirable: experience in wealth management, financial planning or financial services
  • Background in client transfers, investment operations or complex financial products will be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with different audiences
  • Experience developing relationships with advisers, client service teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, plus high resilience when managing competing priorities
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a collaborative willingness to work across multiple operational teams
