A quality hospitality operation in Queensland is expanding its kitchen and hiring Chefs at all levels of experience, from apprentices and junior Chefs to qualified Chefs and senior culinary leaders.
The kitchen is professionally led, and there is real room for skill development, career progression and long-term advancement. Remuneration is competitive and the package is negotiable according to your experience and capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly with other Chefs and with restaurant staff
- Produce high-quality food in a range of kitchen sections and take responsibility for any section assigned to you when required
- Prepare ingredients, keep stock at appropriate levels and follow kitchen systems, recipes and service procedures
- Deliver dishes that meet the required quality and presentation standards
- Maintain food safety and hygiene at all times
- Work efficiently through busy service periods and support smooth coordination across the kitchen
- Assist in training and developing junior team members
- Put forward ideas to improve food quality and kitchen performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial cookery experience is preferred
- Depending on the level of the position, relevant qualifications are desirable
- Open to apprentices, junior Chefs, qualified Chefs and senior Chefs
- Strong understanding of how kitchen operations and food preparation work
- Committed to high standards of food quality and presentation
- Knows food safety and hygiene procedures
- Can manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate within a professional team
- Leadership skills are preferred if you are applying at an experienced or senior level
