Key Responsibilities

Follow food safety and hygiene procedures without exception
Keep the kitchen clean throughout operations
Handle ingredient prep and the daily kitchen preparation
Cook menu items to established recipes and standards
Hold food quality and presentation steady from start to end of service
Manage several cooking tasks during peak periods and stay efficient in a high-volume kitchen
Store food correctly and rotate stock
Monitor ingredient usage and keep wastage to a minimum
Communicate clearly with kitchen colleagues and service staff, and help keep the kitchen organised and productive
Respond professionally when service requirements change

Requirements & Eligibility

Current residence in Perth, Western Australia is essential
Visa holders already residing in Perth are welcome to apply
You can demonstrate authentic and verifiable work experience
Relevant experience as a Cook or Chef
Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen
High-volume kitchen experience is strongly preferred
You work efficiently when services are busy
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Positive attitude and a work ethic you can depend on
Good communication and teamwork, plus a professional approach to food preparation and customer service
You can meet workplace and food safety requirements
You are committed to completing the required qualifying period; sponsorship available for eligible high-performing candidates
