Key Responsibilities

Process payments on POS systems, take customer orders and serve food and beverages
Cook and prepare food to the set quality standards
Handle kitchen sections efficiently during service
Get ingredients ready and keep food preparation areas organised
Keep food quality, presentation and portion control consistent
Stick to food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures, and keep work areas clean, safe and organised
Help out with deliveries, inventory and stock control
Cooperate with both kitchen and front-of-house staff
Support less experienced colleagues where required
Greet customers and deliver professional service
Answer customer questions about the menu
Clear tables, clean them and set them up again
Keep the dining environment welcoming and professional
Assist with wider restaurant operations when needed

Requirements & Eligibility

Valid Australian work rights and current residence in Australia
For Chef and Cook positions: minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen
Demonstrated Asian cuisine experience
Experience in Japanese cuisine is not required
Relevant Australian qualifications preferred
Employment history that is genuine and can be verified
Can demonstrate practical skills relevant to the role
Strong communication and teamwork, with a reliable and professional attitude
Willing to learn the established procedures of the workplace
Committed to a long-term career in hospitality
Willing to start employment before any sponsorship is considered
