Key Responsibilities

Keep strict kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
Cook authentic Indian food to commercial standards
Apply specialised techniques to curry, tandoor and South Indian dishes
Follow set recipes, preparation methods and quality standards so taste, texture, quality and presentation stay consistent
Prep ingredients and complete kitchen preparation ahead of service
Manage your cooking tasks efficiently in busy service periods
Coordinate with other kitchen staff for efficient food service
Assist with catering and event kitchen operations as required
Keep the working environment organised, clean and professional

Requirements & Eligibility

Sound understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Proven experience preparing Indian cuisine in a commercial kitchen
Expertise in tandoor, curry or South Indian cooking that is demonstrable
Strong hands-on knowledge of Indian ingredients and cooking methods
Ability to produce high-quality dishes consistently, including under pressure
Background working in a busy restaurant, events or catering kitchen
Reliable attendance and strong professional work ethic
Effective teamwork and communication skills
Holding relevant culinary qualifications is advantageous
Candidates must meet the applicable sponsorship requirements
