Role: Cook/Chef. Location: Western Australia. This is a verified opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional.
The employer wants someone confident with fusion-style cuisine who can add to an organised, high-performing kitchen. You will work breakfast, lunch and dinner services and be responsible for food preparation, quality and kitchen coordination, with room to build your culinary expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily kitchen workload and delegate duties to team members
- Assist in supervising and training the kitchen crew
- Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Produce authentic fusion-style dishes to recipe and quality standards
- Prep ingredients and arrange cooking stations ahead of service
- Confirm that knives, pans, scales and other equipment are ready for use
- Check recipes and change ingredients or techniques when required
- Cook and plate efficiently through busy periods
- Pass daily specials and relevant updates to front-of-house staff
- Present finished dishes attractively and consistently
- Modify meals, where reasonable, to meet customer requests
- Track stock levels, anticipate ingredient needs and assist with purchasing and ordering
- Inspect food for quality and freshness and dispose of expired or unsuitable items under food safety procedures
- Run commercial cooking equipment safely and keep the kitchen clean, safe and organised
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
- Proven professional background as a Chef or Cook
- Experience with fusion-style cuisine
- Solid knowledge of modern recipes and cooking techniques
- Practical use of grills, fryers, ovens and commercial kitchen equipment
- Baking and pastry knowledge
- Leadership ability and confidence when supervising kitchen staff
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at a fast pace
- Strong time management and organisation
- Good communication and ability to work in a team
- Understanding of food hygiene and sanitation regulations and the ability to maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- Willing to work in Western Australia
- Australian work rights or eligibility for a suitable sponsored visa; visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
