A job title alone will not get you this role. An established construction business in Frenchs Forest, Sydney wants carpenters who can demonstrate genuine hands-on experience and handle commercial carpentry work with confidence.

The business has ongoing full-time projects across New South Wales covering interior fit-outs, doors, flooring, decking and general commercial carpentry. Tradespeople with a strong, verifiable background can access consistent work, above-award rates and excellent working conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Follow plans, measurements and job specifications accurately when measuring, cutting, assembling and installing timber and related materials
Deliver commercial carpentry on ongoing construction projects
Complete interior fit-outs such as skirting and architrave installation, along with general carpentry and finishing
Fit commercial doors and related fittings
Install flooring and decking in line with project requirements
Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively
Produce consistent, detail-focused workmanship
Keep the site safe, meet workplace requirements and cooperate with other trades and site personnel
Move between project sites across New South Wales as needed

Requirements & Eligibility

Current White Card
At least 3 years of practical experience as a carpenter
Demonstrated commercial carpentry or relevant construction experience that is genuine and verifiable, plus the ability to show your practical carpentry skills
Own tools for general carpentry, reliable personal transport and willingness to travel between sites
Understanding of Australian construction practices and industry standards is desirable
Australian work rights are a must, or you must meet sponsorship requirements
Sponsorship available for suitable overseas candidates who have verified experience and the required skills
Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply
