Qualified Cabinet Maker needed in Brisbane, Queensland. The employer is a well-established manufacturing business adding a skilled tradesperson to its permanent production team.
The work covers custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial clients, where detailed designs are turned into accurately manufactured finished products. You should have solid cabinet making experience, a good grasp of technical drawings and confidence on modern manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC routers and other automated woodworking machinery
- Use panel saws, beam saws and edge banding equipment
- Produce custom cabinetry and joinery that matches project specifications
- Construct kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and bespoke cabinet pieces
- Read technical drawings, plans and production documents, and measure and prepare materials accurately from them
- Assemble cabinetry and joinery parts precisely
- Make sure finished products reach the required quality and presentation standards
- Run quality checks across the production process, identifying manufacturing issues and adjusting as needed
- Assist with installation on site when required
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas in suitable condition
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements
- Cooperate with the production and installation teams and get assigned work done efficiently while keeping quality high
Requirements & Eligibility
- Cabinet Making trade qualification that is relevant, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience as a cabinet maker
- Has produced custom cabinetry and can demonstrate it
- Has worked in residential and/or commercial joinery manufacturing
- Hands-on experience operating CNC machinery
- Can read and understand technical drawings
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and the manufacturing processes behind it
- Highly accurate and detail-focused, delivering quality workmanship consistently
- Reliable, responsible and professional; works effectively within a team
- Advantageous: experience with premium residential or commercial joinery
- Overseas applicants must meet applicable Australian migration requirements
