A leading poultry breeding operation in NSW needs an experienced Breeder Farm Manager. You should have a strong record in poultry production and be ready to own flock performance, staff management and daily farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and develop farm employees, allocating staff and coordinating daily work
- Oversee daily breeder farm operations and performance
- Manage flock activities to established production procedures and apply proven husbandry techniques to maintain high-quality breeder stock
- Monitor bird health, flock performance and production indicators, and identify and correct production issues
- Enforce rigorous biosecurity, hygiene, disease prevention and animal welfare requirements
- Keep accurate farm records and documentation and prepare reports on flock performance and operations
- Find opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and consistency
- Work with senior management to deliver agreed production objectives
- Promote accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
Requirements & Eligibility
- Ability to demonstrate and verify relevant employment experience and technical capabilities
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on poultry production experience, including demonstrated experience managing or supervising poultry farm operations
- Strong practical knowledge of breeder poultry production, husbandry and flock management
- Knowledge of animal health, disease prevention, biosecurity, animal welfare standards and industry requirements
- Proven ability to lead, supervise and develop farm staff
- Strong planning, organisation and time management
- Ability to interpret production information and identify performance issues, with strong communication and reporting skills
- Demonstrated practical problem-solving at farm level and a proactive approach to improving production
- Commitment to animal welfare, biosecurity and quality standards
- Willingness to relocate to NSW
