Branch Manager

Branch Manager wanted in New Zealand. The job is to lead a high-performing team and take charge of a complex operation that spans multiple disciplines.
You will be measured on results: the branch must deliver against its safety, customer service, sales, profitability and operational targets. To get there, you will develop people, build customer relationships and create an environment where teams perform at their best, producing strong operational and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Champion initiatives that support health, safety and wellbeing
- Lead the branch overall and set clear performance expectations and business objectives
- Lead and develop managers, supervisors and operational teams, coaching staff and identifying future leadership talent
- Build a high-performing workplace culture where people are engaged
- Improve employee engagement and retention
- Develop strong customer and key stakeholder relationships and back sales and business development initiatives
- Push for operational efficiency and excellent service
- Oversee service, parts, sales and engineering activities
- Manage branch budgets and commercial performance
- Find opportunities to improve processes and resolve operational and customer issues effectively
- Contribute to strategic planning at senior leadership level
- Promote the organisation's values and professional standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Significant leadership experience in a branch or operational environment, with diverse teams and multiple business functions under your management
- Previous senior management experience strongly preferred
- Background in the heavy transport, equipment, automotive or industrial sector
- Strong track record in customer service and relationship management
- Proven ability to manage commercial targets and budgets
- Demonstrated capability in leadership and developing employees
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Strategic thinking combined with practical operational capability, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety and the wellbeing of employees
- Relevant qualifications or industry experience
- Willing to relocate to New Zealand; sponsorship available for suitably qualified overseas candidates
