Key Responsibilities

Meet all workplace health and safety requirements
Work safely with other trades and workshop personnel
Interpret technical drawings, measurements and fabrication specifications
Prepare materials by cutting, drilling, grinding and other fabrication processes
Fabricate and assemble steel components to project requirements
Perform welding and boilermaking tasks across workshop projects
Run the relevant workshop machinery and equipment, and keep tools, equipment and work areas in suitable condition
Carry out quality checks during fabrication and resolve fabrication issues where required
Contribute to a positive, productive team

Requirements & Eligibility

Verifiable trade qualifications and relevant employment history
Recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking, Welding or Fabrication
Hands-on workshop experience that is relevant to the role
Demonstrated skills in steel fabrication and welding, including understanding technical drawings and measurements
Strong focus on safety and quality
Good communication and teamwork, with dependable attendance and follow-through on assigned work
Overseas candidates may be considered where sponsorship and visa requirements are met
