Key Responsibilities

Keep accurate repair records and service documentation, and deliver professional, reliable field service support
Run electrical diagnostics and carry out repairs on heavy mobile equipment
Find and resolve complex faults in electrical and electronic systems, applying strong troubleshooting to cut equipment downtime
Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance programs
Maintain and repair auto air conditioning systems
Inspect equipment performance and make technical recommendations
Do all maintenance work in line with Australian workplace safety standards
Work with the team to improve operational efficiency and service quality

Requirements & Eligibility

Qualified Auto Electrician with a recognised trade certification
Applicants must be able to show verifiable trade experience and employment history
Demonstrated practical experience on mobile plant, mining equipment or heavy vehicles
Strong background in diagnostic processes and electrical fault finding, with the ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical information
Experience with air conditioning systems is preferred
Current driver's licence
Able to satisfy the required site medical and workplace requirements
Good English communication for safety and reporting at work
Able to work independently and contribute effectively to a team, with a firm commitment to safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
