Straight to the point: an established architectural practice in Crows Nest, Sydney wants a Graduate Architect who can back up their technical and documentation experience with real evidence. The firm delivers major industrial developments across Australia.

The skills that count here are practical ones. You will need strong Revit capability, accurate construction documentation, consultant coordination and a clear sense of how a design is turned into something that can actually be built. You will contribute to substantial industrial projects alongside experienced Project Leaders and technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply NCC requirements and the relevant Australian Standards across all documentation, keeping packages consistent, accurate and of high quality
  • Develop detailed Revit models for multiple industrial projects and keep them up to date
  • Produce coordinated construction documentation from design right through to project delivery, translating architectural requirements into practical drawings
  • Coordinate consultant models, flag potential clashes before construction begins, and help resolve technical coordination and documentation problems
  • Check shop drawings and assist with the technical review process
  • Support site inspections and the construction phase of projects
  • Collaborate closely with Project Leaders, consultants and other technical staff
  • Offer ideas that strengthen Revit standards and internal documentation workflows

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related field; relevant equivalent industry experience may be considered
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated Revit documentation work
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Revit modelling, detailing and documentation
  • Proven experience producing construction documentation for architectural projects
  • Demonstrated understanding of buildability and technical coordination, and the ability to coordinate input from multiple consultants and disciplines
  • Working knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear communicator who works well in a team, with a professional and accountable approach to project delivery
  • Able to demonstrate genuine project experience and technical capability
