AP/MPI Certified Warehouse Person

Wanted in Auckland, New Zealand: a current AP Holder / MPI Certified professional for a long-term warehouse and container operations role.

Your main job is to make sure container devanning is completed safely, efficiently and in line with MPI requirements. Expect a mix of MPI compliance, operational oversight, documentation and hands-on unloading, so you need to be comfortable getting involved day to day while keeping the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Never cut corners on established workplace health and safety procedures
• Raise any compliance, safety or operational concerns you identify
• Supervise daily container devanning and unloading
• Make sure every MPI requirement and procedure is followed correctly
• Own compliance from start to finish of unloading operations
• Complete MPI documentation and inspection records
• Take care of all other required paperwork
• Help with unloading, handling and moving goods
• Watch container processing and hit operational deadlines
• Coordinate with fellow warehouse and container handling staff
• Keep records and documentation accurate
• Contribute to an organised, productive and efficient workplace
• Take on other warehouse duties when operations require

Requirements & Eligibility

• AP/MPI Certification that is current and valid
• Warehouse, container handling or devanning experience, plus practical knowledge of MPI requirements and procedures
• Physically fit for regular manual lifting
• Comfortable in hands-on operational work
• Reliable, with excellent punctuality and attendance
• Works efficiently in a team and has a strong understanding of workplace deadlines and timeframes
• Follows instructions and compliance procedures accurately and is committed to strict health and safety standards
• Available for full working days and early morning starts
• Relevant overseas candidates may be considered for sponsorship
