Aircraft Maintenance Engineers

An aviation maintenance operation in Queensland is growing and needs experienced engineers: LAMEs holding B1.1/B2 licences, and qualified AMEs with strong practical maintenance experience.
The work supports a diverse range of aircraft and airline customers across Australia and the Pacific. You will apply your expertise in a professional Australian aviation environment, gain exposure to more aircraft and build your career through ongoing training and approvals.

Key Responsibilities
- Work within CASA requirements and applicable aviation standards at all times
- Perform all maintenance according to approved procedures
- Complete maintenance documentation and technical records accurately
- Conduct both line and heavy aircraft maintenance
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections
- Diagnose aircraft defects, rectify them and troubleshoot systems and components
- Service aircraft, carry out inspections and replace components
- Support aircraft turnarounds and line maintenance activities on regional turboprop and jet aircraft
- Identify technical issues and report them
- Collaborate with other engineers and maintenance personnel
- Take part in aircraft type training and additional approval programs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current CASA B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (LAME)
- Experience on the Q400 is essential (LAME)
- Experience on the Dash 8 Classic 100/200/300 is highly regarded (LAME)
- Experience on B737 NG or MAX is advantageous (LAME)
- Experience with narrow-body or wide-body aircraft is beneficial (LAME)
- Strong practical background in aircraft maintenance (LAME)
- Sound knowledge of maintenance procedures and aviation safety (LAME)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the aviation industry (AME)
- Relevant qualifications in aircraft maintenance (AME)
- Practical experience in line maintenance preferred (AME)
- Experience in heavy maintenance considered (AME)
- Experience with turboprops advantageous (AME)
- Strong skills in defect rectification and troubleshooting (AME)
- Able to work efficiently and safely in a demanding maintenance environment (AME)
