Key Responsibilities

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times, operate fabrication equipment and workshop machinery safely, and keep the work area clean and organised
Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding and general fabrication work to engineering specifications
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications
Fabricate, assemble and repair steel components that meet required quality standards
Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance
Meet production deadlines while working independently
Work with supervisors and team members to achieve project objectives

Requirements & Eligibility

Proficient in MIG, TIG and Stick welding, with proven fabrication and welding experience in a workshop environment
Trade-qualified Welder, Boilermaker or Fabricator, or holder of an equivalent qualification
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and a positive, dependable work ethic
