Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the quality and consistency of your work
Provide professional barbering services to a consistently high standard
Cut modern fades, clipper and scissor cuts, and style hair
Handle beard trimming, grooming and shaving
Consult each client and recommend styles to suit their preferences and appearance
Create a personalised, professional experience in a welcoming shop environment
Build long-term relationships and encourage clients to return
Keep hygiene, cleanliness and workstation presentation at a high standard
Communicate positively and professionally with clients and colleagues
Stay up to date with emerging trends, products and techniques
Contribute to a collaborative, energetic team and take initiative to keep the workplace running smoothly
Represent the business through professional conduct, presentation and workmanship
Keep developing your technical and customer-service skills

Requirements & Eligibility

Must satisfy applicable Australian employment and sponsorship requirements, and must be eligible for the relevant sponsorship pathway where sponsorship is required
Recognised Certificate III in Barbering, Hairdressing or an equivalent qualification
Minimum two years of relevant professional barbering experience
Demonstrated practical experience with fades, clipper work and scissor cutting
Competent in beard trimming, grooming and shaving
Understanding of current barbering styles and techniques
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Professional appearance and a reliable work ethic
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to form genuine relationships with clients
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
Willing to keep learning and developing professionally
Evidence of relevant qualifications, plus verifiable employment history and industry experience
Existing personal clientele advantageous but not essential
